In the last 2 weeks three Persian Gulf nations announced record setting solar pv power stations to be built in the next couple of years, each out doing the other. Today it is Morocco with undersea power lines to Spain, the largest solar plant announced so far in the world. This is sort of an interesting sensation, getting use to hearing about the new technologies going on in progressive nations while I watch from inside a country with no ambition beyond stealing as much money from one another as possible. This is what ignorance and greed look like.
