Energy Security - 24/7 Concentrated Solar Thermal Power plus...


These guys don't give a damn about dictators or religious zealots, or pirates, they just take energy from the sun.

    This would never get built here: Two much money from the Koch brothers, Big Oil and Gas, and the Coal companies. Natural gas is cheaper than gas produced at coal gasification plants - So,
    the enviromental laws at the new coal mine here in Sullivan County were relaxed to make the coal cheaper for Duke Energy at their Edwardsport coal gasification plant.

      Ron, actually there is at least one in the southwest somewhere, Calif I think, and I am not clear if it is operating yet. Spain has two big ones and two or three real small ones, prototypes maybe, and there a number of them under construction in Algeria or Morocco I think and north Africa and the middle east. The up front cost is hugh, but once they operate you have only have to keep it repaired, there is no fuel costs, no fuel delivery issues, no smoke to test for pollution.
