I would love to see Saint Santorum sweep the GOP nomination. Even if it comes down to a floor fight - He will have a lot of support from the bagger/thumper far right.
ReplyDeleteThey need to run the friggin zealot...

I notice I have a new follower Hubert Rainfield. I cannot follow him back to any blog that is clearly his. Hubert, if you happen this way again, I hole you will give me (us) your blog address as your profile page does not link it so far as I can find. Glad you stopped by.
ReplyDeleteThom Hartmann (radio guy) is worried that if Santorum 'wins' it will lead to a brokered convention at which the powers that be will entice Marco Rubio to run 'for the good of the party (and America).' (Gag.)
ReplyDeleteI don't believe Rubio would want to, given the longer odds against a candidate who doesn't even enter the race until August (and a loss could damage him for 2016). I guess we'll see.
Kev,
ReplyDeleteThe REpublicans are desparate for a "white knight" to arise and save this election. There will be no such thing.
They have either, "Why wife drives two Cadillacs" or, "College education turns people against God".
They are fucked and they know it...
Plus, You are right on Rubio, Danials, Christie, Bush or any other dark horse coming aboard with it being the end of February and Super Tuesday coming fast...
Political suicide.
