    1. TFWY,
      Not sure what you meant.....

A grain farmer here, seeing over my 40 years at it the crop/growing cycle shift forward, temps trending up, more destructive storms of every kind, insurance rates up because of it. Plus have a PHd Climate Scientis/ NASA scientist in the family that gathers data on temps, bog fires, ice, were always prepared and ready for the debate.
Insurance companies believe in global warming, as do seed companies, the Pentagon, the CIA, and me.

  2. Folks,
The time is drawing closer where We The People are given yet another opportunity to shed ourselves of the science-deniers
in the House of Representatives. Make certain that you know what your representative's views are on matters like climate change and global warming before you vote.
It is 67 degrees on Match 7th in Indianapolis, Indiana. OKay some will call this just a warm spurt. Okay, I will buy that.
But, weather and climate are not the same - weather is short term and climate is long term.
If you examone the charts you can easily see that global warming and climate change are facts. Now, as much as the neocons would decry this as liberal lies and even perhaps witchcraft -As Darrel cited: The CIA, NOAA, the Pentagon,
and agencies outside the United States all agree that global warming and climate change is a fact.

    Science trumps religion with this...

Having stated the above- Get your ass out an vote!

    1. It's true what you say Sarge. I read another piece of dump a few days ago from some idiot who thinks if it gets to warm here then we just raise wheat and corn further north. Well, our borders don't go further north so it would'nt be us raising it, we'd be buying it. Oh Alaska you say, well, the soil type is not correct for wheat, and there is pretty much no top soil at all in the alpine and boreal landscapes for corn to latch onto, plus even if the temp and soil was right the growing season is not the same. There may be just a little that could be raised there, but it would support a tiny fraction of the population we feed now. So tell the next dufus with that story I said to pound lichens and granite dust up his ass.

See, they fucking know it's getting warmer, that's why they come up with these stupid solutions for it.

    1. Thanks NAC, it's scary to see that. Well her millions of trees are dying in Kansas this winter, it won't be apparent to most the public for another couple of weeks, it should be mid April but some species of trees now leaf out the first of March. The drought combined with warm winter is killing them. My wife is a certified master gardner and they work with the university to monitor this, it's real. The sap runs up and down the tree all winter as we have a cold day followed by a week of 60's, this is what we had this winter, and pretty much the last several. Since the trees are weakened by years of hotter than norm summers and less rainfall for a decade this sap running up then back down uses up the stored energy of the tree.
