I see Obama as weak following the debt ceiling debacle. Any one he names will be seen as dirty no matter their qualifications.
I predict the only Supreme Court nominee he can get past the Senate now are either:
Pat Buchanan,
or "birther" lawyer Orly Taitz.
Who do you think he could get past this Senate?
A better question is who will replace Obama in 2012?
ReplyDeleteYou know? Weak would be to have a majority in Congress that didn't contain Democrats who represent CONSERVATIVE people and then give up what he had to give up.
ReplyDeleteREAD MY BLOG! There's not a damn thing wrong with what is going down for political reasons and for this nation. The tax cuts expire in December 2012. This bill does not touch SS, Medicare and Medicaid despite what the Messiah Bernie Sanders says.
VOTERS gave him the Tea Party and stupid people seem to feel he can bully them into what for chissakes?
Oh yeah, if anyone replaces Obama in 2012, especially any Repub, the tax cuts will be in effect again. Want that do you? Fine, turn against him and vote for someone else.
Ok, Sherry,
ReplyDeleteI will read your blog, always ready to learn. Glad your keeping up with this and I am interested in your view.
Whit,
ReplyDeleteI'm getting some bad voodoo vibes, but, it's a long time to election day. Much more can collapse around us, wear a cup, wear a helmet. Hope Sherry is right.
I don't see a Republican that can unseat Obama.
ReplyDeleteHe will get the black vote out - huge again. And, the Hispanics see little kinship to the GOP. The key is the moderates and independents.
Well add in the seniors - the Dems will hammer
the Ryan budget cuts to Medicare and Medicaid.
The key is those House seats - we must get those baggers out. I will give this - I am liking Russ Feingold more and more...
Ron
I think Hillary would make a fine Justice. But anyone to the left of John Birch can't get past the House of Reprehensibles.
ReplyDeleteRuss is the bomb but don't expect him to run for President until 2016. Maybe he'd replace Biden on the 2012 ticket. In fact, can we have that? Please? Make him the "heir apparent"?
ReplyDeleteBack to my point - the key is to keep the majority or even grow it in the Senate and run the baggers out of the House. The key to them getting in was Obamacare - the key to running the bastards out is Medicare.
