Good luck Wisconsin

Tuesday Aug. 9th is the recall elections in Wisconsin, a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries.  Progressives try to blunt the corporatism and shattering of middle class jobs, the war on teachers and blunt force trauma by the Tea Bags and their shills the GOP.   Good luck Wisconsin progressives, if you have some success I will be greatly encouraged, if you take back control I will buy a 6 pack of Stevens Point or  Linenkugal and  tear into them and dream of the fine vacations I've had in the terminal moraine area, Watoma, Wild Rose.  Shit, you people dance like your killing snakes, wow.

  1. OK, first off, they might own the Republican party in Wisconsin but they don't own Wisconsin. Yet. I have a good feeling about tomorrow, I think "we" will win three of those seats back. Which is enough to swing the balance back, 17-16.

But then there are two more later in August where Democrats are facing recalls and they will have to win both. But they are both ahead in their polls, last I heard.

Also, regrettably, I must inform you that Leinkugels caved, at some point in the fairly recent past, and is now part of MillerCoorsCorp. Fuckers!

Finally, a question. Were those dancers Native Americans? Our white people dance so lamely they even CALL it square dancing. ; )

  2. Kevin, this is the very crap I dread, your news will set me back for weeks in my anger management class, my depression recovery, and my planning for future beer purchases. Fuck Milller, Fuck Coors, Fuck Budweiser. I will not drink mega fucking corporation beer. Their base products must be kept cold for fear they be mistaken or mixed up with cat piss. Now the son of a bitches are out to buy up the craft beer market rather than make good beer themselves. Tell me, when has a mega fucking corporation taken over a quality small time product and made it a good thing for the consumer. So, I can safely say, my last Leinekugel was in July 2011, long live family owned Leine's. I will not give money to Miller, for good beer when there are other good craftsman made small brand beers as good.
Good luck Wisconsin, and may the pride of Chippawa Falls rest in peace.

  3. Kev,
Just get your ass out an vote - the country is swinging abet slowly but swinging. I think this S&P downgrade and stock market drop is waking some people up. It doesn't take rocket science to see how we got where we are...

Kev can't vote in this, no recall vote for his district.

  5. Fringe:

I watched the Ed Show last night. He gave good coverage to today's election in Wisconsin.

  6. Looks like, as of Tuesday night, we came one short. Got two, needed three.
