Fringe, as a proud Union member, I feel that this incident may be a black eye on the movement. It plays right into the hands on the Conservatives, and there belief and statements about Union "Thuggery".
JOB, I am in total agreement with you. But I still got a chuckle from it. I wrote a paper on this very subject back in the 70's in college, I think I got a B on it, how the unions often overstep the situation and end up with a black eye. Corporations set the tone in some cases in history with their thugs, murders, beatings. This was a minor event, but will be used to the max by the right and anti union.
Saw a vid yesterday where a guy claimed one of the tents coming down was an inside job. One of the people in the tent went around the outside and loosened the ropes and kicked in the poles around the edge of the tent.
This country has a history of people pretending to be with one group while actually being covert operators for someone else. Look at any of the supposed conspiracies caught by the FBI in the last 50 years. Usually it's a FBI plant that provides the idea and materials to carry out the plot. Same thing happens in "Class Warfare".
If I should hear this guy is charged for this, and if a defense fund is set up, I will send a 10 spot. That was sweet.
