Christian Shari law passed in Topeka Kansas

I told you they would do this, ... did it yesterday,  Christian Shari Law.  The seat of state GOP control in Kansas has thrown out their domestic violence laws.  Well, they say it's to save money, saving women and kids costs to much I guess, but really this was about family values and return of rights to whoever has the biggest fist or club.  Men can now discipline their women and children without the liberal nanny state's fussing around about broken arms or missing teeth.  At last the Old Testament is restored, to men.  Praise the Lord, and shut the fuck up, 911 ain't sending nobody to save yer ass this time.

Shit, I gotta move away from this bunch as soon as I retire.  This is fucking primitive.

  1. From what I've read on this, it started when the County DA got his budget cut and refused to prosecute misdemeanor domestic violence cases. He pushed the problem off on the City of Topeka and they can't afford it either. All they can see is money and they believe this will force the DA to do his job. This is a seriously bad move on their part, and battered women and children will be the ones to suffer.

  2. Sherry,
Your summary is good, more accurate than mine, but look at the picture I posted, this is what a GOP tax cutting budget cutting frenzy looks like to women and children.

  3. I've said it before and I've said it again, Kansas is by far the craziest state.

Get things back to the old days, before you had trouble making women who talked about personal business outside the house. This is what the true deep Conservatives want, they just can't say it on TV. Slowly, ever so slowly, things will roll back to the unspoken laws of the days of old when women were property and what a man did with his property is his business and no one else's. Scary times...

  4. There wouldn't be any domestic violence if all those God fearing Kansas men would keep their women chained up in the front yard like they're supposed to. Maybe with a price tag on her forehead in case a passerby wants to buy her.

As I noted to Sherry, this is what republican budget cutting looks like.

    CRAZY STATE UPDATE:
Squirming like a jug full of ants in the sun, seems the repubs in Topeka don't like all the national media pointing lights at them, now the DA says he will review some domestic abuse cases and prosecute the worst ones. Wow girls and boys and wives and live-ins, don't you feel better now, lets review........the local police will not respond, so maybe the country sheriff will or the state police. Then the DA will decide if your black and blue back and pulled out hair is worse than the next girls broken arm is, kind of Topeka's reality show version of Survivor. To sum it up, your going to need to get the shit knocked out of you before they do anything, a busted lip, brusied ribs and a few scratches ain't gonna do it.

  6. This is really dark ages shit. I heard the Topeka boys reversed their position on this after legal explained a little thing called selective enforcement vs equal protection. ??
