Chart man attacks and CEO's are ask to do something about global warming

Yesterday, 92 pension funds, asset managers, insurers and banks, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), which holds the world's largest collection of self-reported corporate environmental data, has sent letters to the CEOs of 415 of the world’s largest public companies calling for cost-effective management and reductions of their carbon emissions.  This follows a repeat warning a few days ago by the worlds largest insurance companies, underscoring last years notice, that global warming is increasing exposure to natural disasters, will increase risks of civil unrest, thus rates are headed up sharply.
Now.......some charts.

  1. You know, I never thought of Insurance Companies. They dictate policy all throughout society. If they're on board we might actually GET somewhere.

  2. Nota,
They are on board to gather higher premiums to cover increasing risks. They employ scientist and lots of statisticians, they are not a bunch of GOP Luddites, they use new tools to identify coming trends. And they will charge a penalty for what we are doing to this world, since they do not intend to go broke as our shit hits the fan.
