research about gun violence, congress killed it

Here are some great numbers, 30,000 Gun Deaths in America almost every year, it’s been that high for 16 years, that’s 480,000 dead, there are 3 times that many injured  1.5 million.
Having a gun in the home makes you safer, or more at risk?  300% higher risk that a member of the house will die by gun fire, and 500% increase in the probability of it’s use for suicide by a family member, often a youthful member.

  1. It is all about power, money, and the NRA.
I quit the bastards decades ago over their opposition to the ban on assault weapons.
I mean, why are the things called "assault" weapons in the first place if they are not intended to assault someone?

  2. We had another guy shooting a 'prowler' in Wisconsin this weekend. Turned out to be his womanfriend. Oopsie. What is it with this shoot first, identify later mentality?
