Dead Mitt walking

Mitt Romney made a very important statement these last few hours.  He said (approximately) humans are responsible for the global warming, and we need to fix it.  On this issue Mitt has more balls than Obama, who for the recent past has failed in any speech to use the words global warming, and rarely even mutters climate change or environment.  I don't know if I ever admired Mitt before this, sorry Mitt but the truth shall set you free, free of the possibility of winning.  Amazing to think there is a GOP (guardian of privilege) man out there who will say this, really a fine moment in that respect.

Aside from Sarah Palin sucking all the air out of Mitt's press coverage with her midnight ride of Paul Revisionism, aside from that, it's a death sentence self inflicted, the GW word.  No no no Mitt, there's no pardon available, industry and business hates you now, even your pets are hated may they be bagged and tied to an SUV tailpipe, the snowbilly grifter's path is clear now, executioner and king maker, deliver the boneheads to Paaaalenty, the magic underwear won't be enough.

  1. great insight - to which I'm only agreeing to in part. I think it will hurt him but I don't think it's a death blow to his campaign. It's early my man - the election is way off.

Would I vote for him over Obama?

    Not today.

But, the only day that counts is that one in November of 2012

  2. While Romney is trying to break in a new Mitt, Sarah Palin is pitching him some curve balls. :^)

We will see in the days ahead how much he and his advisors think this may hurt by how much clarification and back sliding he does. I hope for none, that would be refreshing, a statement left as is.

  4. Whit,
Her tortured inaccurate bull puckey Paul Revere story was a wild pitch into the dirt, but her supporters will boo if the umpire calls it a ball.

  5. Fringe,
Thanks for the post about the blog being down.

Romney, right now the leading Republicans are being looked at by the evangelicals. Romneys, and Huintsman's religion will but them at odds with the thumper far right.
Plus he has Massachusettes Care - that is working to deal with - right now the GOP slate looks meager - Rudolph Giulini won't help - The mayor as at leasr as much baggage as Newt..

  6. Fringe,
Romney is much too middle-of-the-road for the GOP. Why he might even be willing to listen to Democrats instead of trying to drown them out by shouting.

  7. Mitt Romney has forever alienated me; I will never vote for him for anything. However, it IS refreshing to see "one of them" state the obvious, for whatever reason. I think it's at least partly to separate himself from the rest of the R's. Probably his only shot.

  8. It's good to hear someone, anyone advance the global warming issue...just not sure there is any time left to change it even if big business would allow us to change it.

Thanks for the views, So to sum up, Mitt can't win because the thumpers consider mormon underwear a cult trait, he might talk to democrats, he is separating himself from the R's to early, and big business won't allow it.

Besides that, he looks like a 1970's Vitalis commercial, the GOP sure have some funny hair this year.
