Hagel targeted by fossil fuel bullies

Hagel faces lots of opposition in the Senate confirmation drama.  His support of the generals and admirals to adopt solar, wind, & alternative fuels to reduce the supply chain, specifically fuel convoys, has the GOP and a few Dems speaking up for their owners, big oil.   It costs too much is the cry.  Insulating buildings, buying pigtail lights, energy stingy engines for tanks, we can't afford it.  Fucking oil companies can't afford it!  The pay back on the upfront cost is 5 years or less on most of it, after that it's nearly free for 20 - 30 years and far fewer convoys.  Koch, Exxon, Shell, BP, does not want this man in there egging on the already out of control "green" generals.
